![]() ![]() There is not enough of a difference in price for that to be a major consideration. I guess if you want an instrument that "loads fast" then True Pianos is for you, otherwise, go for what sounds best. To balance the "shameless plug" posted by the producers of True Pianos, I strongly suggest that you go to Ivory, ArtVista, NI Akoustik Piano, and others FIRST, and listen carefully. Here's what I think: With instruments like Ivory (which I don't own) and others out there that ARE convincing, selling a product called TRUE Pianos based on Dave Rich's fear of streaming technology, is setting up people for the same dissapointment I have experienced. In the interest of fairness, I will NOT plug it. I finally stumbled upon an instrument that sounds real enough to impress, if not fool real piano players. I have sunk some serious dough into products that inevitably fail to impress the pianists that come into my studio, and I refuse to stand by while thes guys peddle their wares on this forum. I get agitated with vendors claiming (with rather dubious "owner testimonials") the next "great real piano" when what they are really selling is something more akin to an electric piano. Rayzoon truepianos free#Why the free advertising? I just listened again, and again I am underwhelmed. So if any such requests are send to our support mailbox we'll judge them individually and certainly not publicly. It's certainly not a money issue for us but we can't give one person a partial refund publicly while another won't get it as you might understand. If your friend ordered earlier yesterday before the discount became active or during the last weekend he can always try to contact us using the support form on the website but I can't guarantee anything since we need to be quite consistent on this. We could say everybody who ordered from 1 December or later gets a partial discount then people who ordered on 30 November could feel bad, etc. The main problem with offering partial refunds in a case like this is that it's impossible to set a fair limit on the date up to which refunds are given. We did inform all people who contacted us with questions about TruePianos in the last few days that the discount was coming and that they might benefit from slightly delaying their order but that was all we could do. As always with such actions there are people who just miss the boat. So this might be interesting for some people. ![]() Since Rayzoon/Jamstix also has a discount offer currently it's actually possible when ordering from a non-VAT affected region (outside Europe) in US Dollars to get both Jamstix 2XL (99$) and TruePianos (89$ with Jamstix discount coupon applied) for 188$ in total. Additional discounts (up to 51$) are only available for Jamstix/Discovery customers. The 20% discount is for all customers ordering till the end of the month. ![]()
